I love your live streams from the parks! I am getting pumped for our trip to the poly and will proceed to live vicariously through you until then πππ
Dang! I missed you live again!? I'll keep vigil until Thursday for your next one. About Poly transportation – think about the history of WDW: the original monorail resorts were the Poly & Cont (GF came later in 1988 ?? I think…?) and were connected to Magic Kingdom and the TTC when that was all there was in 1971. There's also the express monorail connecting the TTC and Magic Kingdom. When Epcot came along 11 yrs later, they added the monorail line from the TTC to Epcot. There has always been a switch at the TTC from monorail resorts/express lines to the Epcot line. So, yes, you need to go down the ramp from one line and then up the ramp to the other line at the TTC. When we stayed at the Poly, our building was actually closer to the path to the TTC than to the main building, so it was easier just to walk to the TTC when we wanted to go anywhere by monorail. There are buses, too, of course, to get to the rest of the World. So, it's not just a Poly thing – it's how the monorail lines evolved over time as WDW expanded. I recently read that it would cost $100 million PER MILE !! to build a monorail line today. For that amount, they could move more people to more places more swiftly with other modes of transport.
Boo, I missed you live! I feel the same about the Poly. I love it (and want to love it) because of nostalgia. Itβs where I stayed with my family every year growing up. But I was so disappointed when we stayed there and quickly realized it just doesnβt work for my family today. Itβs not a good place to eat with a peanut allergy (love Disney chefs, but Iβd rather eat from a kitchen that doesnβt have peanuts featured on the menu) and there are much faster and easier transportation options than the monorail lines. I just donβt think itβs worth the expense to stay there. Hope you are having a fabulous time!
Ok I didnβt realize this was live originally and I was like wow sheβs seeing lots of friends in the park ππππππ omg Iβm glad you took a break from vlogging to enjoy time with your family β€οΈ

Hi Allison. Rosie looks absolutely precious. It definitely has been hot here in Ohio as well. Humidity is no fun. π Look forward to more vlogs.
Awe thank you! And yes, the humidity in Michigan was absolutely nuts and made Florida feel like a dream π
