i hope the girls are feeling better! π great vlog! x
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed and yes, they are both much better π
This is so awesome!! Talk about doing Disney RIGHT π π
Bekah, this girl has it DOWN;).
I love VIP experiences. I've only done them with your family. So it's possible that the tours are just OK but it's your family that's the magic;). Love this!!
Man…I wish there was one happening for SWGE in September….oh wait…π¬
I agree, that tour can truly maximize a visit. Kudos to you for taking the girls on the tour – seven hours is a long time when you are herding 10 people all day! Thanks for sharing your experience and thoughts!
It definitely was! But you also want to get the most out of it so it's hard not to justify 10 people when you can!
This sounds like a great experience.
It was! Thank you so much for watching!
Awesome!! Iβm glad youβve done this video Allison! Have you done this at Disneyland? A group of friends and I wanna do it at Disneyland. Especially now that galaxyβs edge has a release date! Yes definitely do more lifestyle videos! Also can I just say-Rosieβs little ponytail π
I haven't at Disneyland! But, I imagine it works similarly…I don't know pricing though! I DEFINITELY think it's worth it to go for Star Wars because it'll help you go on the rides! Thanks for watching Erika!
Love your videosπβ€
Thank you! π
That tour looks like fun!! Thanks for sharing π
So glad oyu enjoyed it Janine!
Regarding the tipping, what % did you tip? Iβm booking a vip tour at Disneyland but was told they donβt accept tips.
Sanlily Rikoi We were at Disney world and $100 for 7 hours!
Omg, Iβve always wanted to do a VIP tour- def WDW goals! Great video π
Thank you, Liz! Yes, it was awesome even with the rain π
I appreciate the honest review and insight. That day was so rainy and little kids and rain is a tough combo! You got much more done than we did, but that would have been a rough day to do the tour. We only did two hours at MK in the morning and princess meets were the main activity (inside activity) but our newly princess obsessed 3 yo was so happy. Can't wait to see more of all types of videos but 100% respect how much time and effort it takes.
Thank you so much for your encouragement and I STILL can't believe we didn't see each other on that cruise! Where did you guys stay beforehand? And did you go back to disney after the cruise?
Allison WDWGirl we stayed at the Poly before the cruise for 4 nights and then just did the day at Disney before heading home on an evening flight after the cruise. In the future I would do some time after as well. I keep thinking I will see us in the background of a video and realize we were both in the same place at the same time. If that happens I will probably get excited and scare my husband and child…
Hi Allison! Thank you for sharing your VIP adventure and the details about the experience and what they did for you. I agree keeping the group smaller is better, a group can only move as fast as the slowest person in the group. So a group of 10 would involve some waiting for others. BTW, I think that this is the first time that I have seen you with your hair down, it looks cute! Ken
Thanks, Ken! Yes I definitely agree about the smaller group but it also helps justify the money when you fill the group up ππππ
Okay, so the VIP tour sounds pretty fantastic and well worth it to beat the crazy crowds. Had never considered one before
We loved it, Dawn!
Loved seeing Rosie! I have only done the group VIP tour (Ultimate Thrills) which has a set itinerary but with less people we came out ahead. Luckily my parents drove up and babysat our baby so my husband and I could just enjoy the experience for ourselves and it was awesome – they took us in the vans everywhere, had cold water bottles waiting when we got out of the hot sun, whisked us through FP lines and took photos in front of key spots. It was magical and one of my fave things I have ever done in WDW besides the private fireworks cruise which we had previously done for our 5 yr anniversary! We did the tour because we were there for NYE so knew it would be high crowds (just like you suggested with a new land opening) so the tour helped us get on 11 rides in 7 hours in 3 parks and virtually skip the wait. One day hpefully I will do the proper VIP tour with friends but I loved having a plaid with us the entire day – made us feel special plus as you said the cast members are so nice!! We definitely tipped too!
I've seen those set tours and they look super interesting! They have several intieraries right? I'm loving the tours in general. I just did the walk in walt's footsteps tour and absolutely loved it, AND YOU RIDE RIDES ON IT! I had no idea!
+Allison WDWGirl yeah they had one that just goes to the Magic Kingdom rides, one that's just the AK experience rides and a show, and the Ultimate Thrills went to three parks. We love the thrill rides and can't always go with kids in tow so this tour was perfect for us! And yes I did that tour too last year in Disneyland! Loved the rides, lunch, Walt's apt!!!! And of course the pin π So much fun!
I want to do any tour! Not sure it's worth my time since I don't go that often. And they can be expensive!
Yes, you definitely have to weigh your options and figure out if it's right for your fam! For people who are big star wars fans, I recommend the tour just so they get to see the actual land LOL
I've always wanted to know more about VIP tours so thank you. And Rosie's little ponytail is ADORABLE!
I'm so glad you found it useful. And I'm so happy her hair is finally long enough for me to put a tiny ponytail in π
Seems so expensive but also seems worth it π
Yea, I would definitely save it for a special occasion or celebration!
Thanks for this video. We have done a handful of tours at Disneyland and are doing our first trip to WDW this fall. It was nice to hear the differences and similarities.
Just VIP or have you done other tours? We did the Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour at Disneyland and I thought it was absolutely incredible! Enjoy your first trip to WDW! It's my fav <3
It sounds like you had a good time. My only complaint is this, you're paying a ton of money for the V.I.P experience, they should have a way that you get front of the line service like in Universal Studios. You have a certain amount of time and some express pass lines can be time consuming as well. I don't see why they don't have a way to skip lines and go to the front. So it seems like the only real benefit is unlimited Fast passes and some food. If you could skip all lines I would say it would be worth it but if you have to wait in fast pass line, and sometimes wait in a regular line, I don't think it is. I don't think this point can be understated.
It was super interesting how the history of VIP tours actually started. Each "land" is WDW has a proprietor and they can essentially deny entry to any attraction, so while they try to work in tandem together, they could do away with VIP tours entirely if they wanted to. I don't think they want to push too much so using the fastpass queue has made a happy medium. Celebrity VIP tours, however, is completely different.
@Pixie Dust & Parenting That is very interesting, I did not know that. We're probably going to head to Universal. Thanks for responding!
@chesschamp1000 Enjoy! Universal is fun but there's nothing like Disney (I'm 100% biased haha)
@Pixie Dust & Parenting I'm not going to lie, I would love to return to Disney world but we're going to try out their universal express pass and see how that is.
Hi,If you get to a ride the kids are too small for, or one they don't want to ride, would the VIP guide watch your kids while the adults rode?
