Hey Disney Fam!
There is a TON covered in this vlog. We tried the new minnie van service, saw lots of gondola updates, surveyed some irma damage, and resort hopped to Art of Animation! Part 2 with Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party will be up soon!

The Minnie Vans are so cute! I cannot wait for those gondolas, they're going to be a game changer!
Yes, the minnie vans were awesome, there's definitely a "disney" touch to them. However, at $20 a ride, they're overcharging so hopefully they change the pricing. And I'm so excited for the gondolas too!!
Art of animation is one of my favorites! I love the detail. Your daughter is so adorable! ❤️
Yes! It was so awesome. I really want to stay in a cars suite now!
That's great that there are pamphlets on what you can choose on the dining plan now! Did you only see them at AOA?.
So I think they were just during the free dining period because I didn't see them this past trip!
Allison WDWGirl oh well that's a bummer! Maybe they were testing them out. It was a good idea!
Do the Minnie Vans play Disney songs on the radio like Disney Transport buses?
Kevin Meno Hi Kevin! The Minnie van was playing radio Disney while we were in there but I don’t think it’s themed the way the buses are. Hope this helps! Allison
So is it 6 rides INCLUDING the driver or can my party of 6 fit in one of these?
Your party of 6 can safely ride! There's a seat in the front, 2 bucket seats in the middle, and 3 in the back. They also have 2 carseats if you have children needing them.
This video was very helpful. Thanks so much.
CandyGirlLoddy you’re very welcome! I’m glad you found it helpful 🙂
Girl I am playing catch up today. I’ve been so busy this week it’s insane.
We dive to Disney. 12 hours. I know we are freakin crazy but it does seem like a very convenient way to travel around Disney
Not that crazy! We used to drive from Michigan! 🙂
Can you not use a regular Lyft or Uber at Disney? Just wondering what the benefit of getting the Minnie Van service is versus other transportation options, just heard of this for the first time the other day…prob gonna need to use some type of transport in a few weeks as I want to visit Character Warehouse.
Yes you absolutely can. The biggest difference is that a cast member drives the Minnie van, the music is themed, and they have car seats. They also don’t leave the property unless it’s to and from MCO (so you wouldn’t be able to take it the character outlet). We need the Minnie van because of the kids 🙂
@@AllisonWDWGirl nice thanks for the info! Well we will need car seats too as we have two kids also. I didn't realize their service took you to the airport too! We may end up using this after all – thanks!! And I'll just take an Uber for the Character Warehouse for myself 🙂
I think it’s $150 to take the Minnie van to and from MCO; I usually stick with magical express! 😂👍🏻
Yeah I just realized that. Looked it up and was like holy smokes! Def not made of that much cash for an airport ride…we are staying at the Swan before our return flight though so I guess we will have to use a regular Lyft/Uber as they don't offer Magical Express back to the airport (which also sucks). I wish there was a way to defer Magical Express if you do a split stay like we are doing (the first half is at a Disney-owned hotel) but I doubt that is possible. But we do have a dinner reservation at Animal Kingdom Lodge and I was wondering how we all would get there so maybe the Minnie van would work for that depending on the cost. I hear they are doing distance-based charges now instead of the flat rate as of a week ago, so we will go with whichever option is cheapest!
Yea, swan and dolphin is great because it has a lot of perks just no magic bands or magical express (I actually own a travel agency so that’s what I do for work!)
Yeah I stayed at Dolphin years ago but at the time my parents drove us to the airport so I didn't realize the bus option wasn't available there but I love the convenience and being onsite for not as much as the other deluxe hotels. And so cool! I have actually been wanting to look into becoming a travel agent myself as I help a lot of my friends plan their trips and love it. Any tips?!
Find a travel agency that specializes in Disney Vacations and willing to train you 🙂
I love Lion King, one of my favorite Disney movies of all time, Timon is my all time favorite Disney character. Though I'm worried about the live action remake now that I saw the preview, the CGI animals just don't do it for me. Ursula is my favorite villain, The Little Mermaid is my all time favorite Disney classic movie. I love all the beautiful character statues, what a gorgeous setting. It's sad to see the damage that Irma did to the property, I'm always certain one of these days Disneyland will get caught up in all of the wildfires, they've dodged that bullet so many times.
